| It’s to keep ourselves sharp and stay physically and mentally active. Many of the over 50 pitfalls we face today are hypertension, diabetes, heart disorders, depression, stress, memory loss and arthritis. The older we get, the greater the chances are that we will have problems with one or more of these degenerative diseases. Some of the decline seniors experience may not be totally age related, but caused by poor nutrition. That’s right - -unhealthy eating habits. Research has shown that many times older people fail to get the good nutrition that is necessary for proper and healthy bodily functions. As a result, the vital organs of the body begin to break down and illnesses are the result. |
